Chris Finken
Chris Finken is an online marketing/business guy/entrepreneur. That means he enjoys creating, organizing, building and taking on the risks of a new business. His real passion is that little thing known as the Internet. From websites, domains and affiliate marketing to “Local Search”, ecommerce, pay-per-click (ppc), search engine optimization (seo), social media and everything in between. His time is spent investing in domains, using the latest widgets, sites and tools to help a site be more successful, and jumping on new opportunities. He is currently the VP of Customer Experience at Bloomfire.com, a training and social learning platform used by clients like Logitech, Davenport University, AllState and others. Prior to Bloomfire, Chris co-founded and was EVP of Research & Development at OrangeSoda, Inc. helping the company grow from nothing to something (200 employees, thousands of customers, millions in revenue and Inc500 status) from 2006 to 2010. He currently serves on their Advisory Board.
Chris has served on the Board of Directors for the Internet Merchants Association, taught informational training sessions at leading trade show events like World Shoe Association, ASD/AMD, PPCSummit, and for the American Marketing Association. He has also added his expertise to Small Business Trends and other leading small business networks.
Chris is married with 4 children. After falling in love with internet marketing in early 2002 he’s been going full steam ahead ever since. Chris loves to mow the lawn, play basketball, put too many apps on his iphone and then spend too much time with those apps. Chris is also a fan of ice cream, donuts, hamburgers and fries (not in order of preference) and has even been known to occasionally Tweet on Twitter.
